Both a bistro-café and a boutique stocked with new and recycled clothes, Le Placard is a good place to while away your time. It’s been 6 years since Le Placard moved to a large, friendly storefront on Mont-Royal street, but its been 13 years since they first opened. Located East of the Plateau Mont-Royal and surrounded by food stores and a Maison de la presse (a must for milling around), Le Placard offers fair trade and organic Café Rico coffee as well as their own products. Local artists get some exposure since they can display their work or sell their jewelry. In the back of the store, you’ll find new and recycled clothes, all of it at a good price.
